What's New in Sumner County

Fishing is great on Old Hickory Lake

The fish are really biting this spring.  Bass and crappie tournaments have had pretty good weigh-ins with one big fish of 8 lbs for a bass event.  Recreational fishermen are doing well, too.  Click here for a photo of the potential lake record smallmouth bass caught recently.  You can find more boating and fishing information in the Old Hickory Lake section of our website.
